China government accepts Others countries 's donationn SO DON'T SAY ANYMORE THAT THEY DON'T ACCEPT IT This message is for people who say that China doesn't accept other help it implies that we don't need to donade? The huge earthquake that has devastated Sichuan on may 12th has killed at least 100,000 people and a lot of lost people
At a magnitude of 7.8 the ‘76 quake was enormous, causing widespread damage even in the Chinese capital, where dozens also died.

From what I heard in news and from my family in China: EDIT More Incredible story:

A little boy was crashed by stones ( all his body was crashed and he's bleeding a lot)He hadn't cry one time , instead he was singing ! All the reporters ,journalist , doctors were crying so muchh ! it's so touching ,he's ssoo soo courageous!

A girl has jump from her 5th floor of her school and is still alive ,her parent found her via television and this girl say to her parents to help other people .She care soo much about people !

Heard in the chinese news that a mother protect her children with all her body , with all her force and she died standing with her hand in oder to protect her baby .The baby didn't get any damaged but he died 'cause of suffocation ;_; It's so sad....

A teacher protects his students with all his body strenght ,he died but the students were saved !

Another teacher who just got married was rescued , he asks for a cellphone and call for her wife , when he heard his wife's voice he died.

A 9 aged children saved two of his friends which were unconscious.

The thing that touchs me the most was when people wanted to rescue a 9 aged child , this child said :" Don't mind me , please save other people first ." TTxTT He's sooo courageousss !! I really want to cry!

I already donated something via PayPal (from a link a Chinese friend here on DA gave to me), but I know that this cell number only works for people resident in China.

What happened is terrible, I just hope they'll find other people alive, and that the survivors will find the strenght to get better soon (both physically and emotionally). :(

There was also a little girl who got stuck, she pleaded the medics to rescue here but she was too deep and her voice slowly faded away.

hose stories are so very touching! I'm from Chengdu, Sichuan (but I live in Canada now). It's sad that so many people died in the earthquake. Lucky for me, all my relatives are alive, but my grandma's apartment has cracked.
